Now Hiring in DFW

Build a career you're proud of.

We're a family-owned painting company on a mission to reinvent the trades — building a place where employees and painting partners alike do work that matters, get paid what they're worth, and grow as far as they want to go.

The trades deserve better — and so do you.

Spray Tex Painting was started in 2016 by two UNT students with a mission to disrupt an industry stuck in its old ways. What began as a dorm-room business has grown into one of DFW's leading professional paint companies, with over 4,000 completed projects.

We've gotten here by doing things differently — putting people over profits, holding ourselves to exceptionally high standards of integrity, and treating every team member and partner as essential to what we're building.

If you take pride in your craft, want to grow, and believe how you show up matters as much as what you produce — you'll fit right in.

A note to our painting partners

Independent contractors are not eligible for the W-2 benefits above. What you can expect from us instead: a steady flow of quality work, fair and transparent pay delivered on time, professional support and coaching, and a long-term partnership built on respect. We treat our painting partners as family — because that's exactly what you are to us.

Four values we live by — every day, on every job.

These aren't posters on a wall. They're how we hire, how we lead, and how we hold ourselves accountable.

1

Integrity

We honor our word. We own our impact. Without integrity, nothing else works.

2

Transparency

We're clear and candid with ourselves and each other. We reveal rather than conceal.

3

Growth & Development

We're relentless in pursuing what's possible — for ourselves, our team, our craft.

4

Responsibility

We take 100% ownership. The moment we blame, we lose our power. When we own it, we're unstoppable.

Grow as far as you want to go

We invest in our people. Here's what a long-term path at Spray Tex can look like.

STEP 01

Start

Customer service, office support, or apprentice sales advisor. Learn the craft and our standards.

STEP 02

Build

Sales advisor, color consultant, or crew lead. Own projects and start mentoring others.

STEP 03

Lead

Project manager, senior sales advisor, or operations. Run your part of the business.

STEP 04

Partner

Department lead or future ownership opportunity. Help shape what Spray Tex becomes.

This isn't a fixed track. We meet people where they are and build a growth plan around their unique gifts. Want to dive deeper into one role for years? Great. Want to keep moving? We'll back that too.

Who thrives at Spray Tex

This isn't the right place for everyone — and that's the point. Here's who fits.

  • You take pride in your craft and won't put your name on sloppy work.
  • You'd rather hear the truth than what you want to hear.
  • You want to grow — in skill, in income, in who you are.
  • You believe how you show up matters as much as what you produce.
  • You're ready to take 100% responsibility, even when it's hard.
  • You want to be part of building something — not just clocking time.
"We're here to bring dignity and honor to the trades — and to build a company where our people live true to their calling."
— The Spray Tex Commitment
